This little piece is 15cm square, and is painted with Lascaux acrylic on pure silk, using blues, greens and metallic aluminium acrylic. I get my metallic acrylic at AP Fitzpatrick in London. The consistency must be just right, with hardly any water added. It is easy to have the paint too dry and it won't budge off the tip of the brush, or so wet that it bleeds into the silk leaving a great big blotch.
