Their first oil paintings
I'd like to introduce you to Sue and Jude who have both just completed their first oil paintings on a 4-session course. This is after a mere 12 hours of painting! They began with greyscale sample boards and grey tonal paintings using only black and white. The second artwork was to paint the same still life in colour. Oil Painting
You may remember that I began my quest with getting back to my fine arts roots a while ago. I have found the head-space to 'get back into oils' and I don't know what took me so long! Moreover, I will begin teaching oil painting early next year. We have been in Oxfordshire (from Twickenham) for 7 years now and each year as I get more into harmony with the seasons, I fall more deeply in love with the countryside.
