A monoprint is any sort of print that is a one-off. This particular monoprint is probably a bit of a misnomer then... So I will have this lovely soft field mushroom in the middle of a blue plate which will be on a checked tablecloth. I flirted with a lime green cloth, but I did not like the lime green, brown and blue combination. Royal Copenhagen Plate
As you know, I collect blue plates and this one (although chipped a little) is one of my favourites. When I was in Sweden I visited that lovely shop NK (pronounced On-Cor) and saw that Royal Copenhagen is celebrating their centenary with a limited edition of their fine porcelain.
