Colour – Complementaries
primary and secondary complementaries yellow and purplered and greenblue and orange Complementaries are fabulous and while they can be extremely discordant, once we get the balance right they can make their opposite colour sing. Oh dear! I'm feeling rather overwhelmed because I've involved myself in time consuming things like joining committees and getting sidetracked by grandchildren.And writing a blog 5 days a week.Committees always take time and in a spurt of villagey energy. LX Exhibition 3 – Alpha and Omega
Here is the piece I finally submitted. When framed: 40cm x 40cm. The circle is screenprinted onto slub silk with black acrylic ink.The lettering is handwritten with a pointed brush using gold acrylic ink.The signature square is gold leaf on gum ammoniac, with very fine brush lettering - about 1mm high. Behind the Scenes – Thistle watercolour
