The Village shop is complete!  27cmX27cm (Well, almost - just the postbox to get some detail, but I needed to look at it again). The little Westie's name is Delphi and she goes there for a walk every day and sometimes twice a day with her elderly master and he enjoys a beer in the sunshine while she waits patiently. House portraits in a naive style

After drawing my brother Des and Caroline's home, (a small drawing 15cm wide done in situ) I felt this style would be great to persue and wanted to work at doing something slightly naive. Someone in the village saw my church lino cut and asked me to do a house portrait for Sarah's birthday. House Portrait exhibition

Two more days to let me know about the swatch-swop! Today is an exhibition of my little artist's buildings as a wrap-up of the 2014 artwork by the girls. Here are the final surprise paintings for their mum and dad. I love the way both little artists have interpreted their home as very large.
