The banners are hoisted. Now looking up... What a relief - the fabric worked well, the hoisting went smoothly (in the end) and the banners have been well-received.Huge thanks to Jude, Dave and Jerry for their help. Christmas Banners
I'm planning some purple and gold Christmas banners for the village church. There will be three banners hanging one behind the other from the centre beams, saying holy, holy holy.Understated and hopefully effective. Here is a thumbnail sketch. The biggest problem was whether or not we could hoist them without bringing a crane into the church - or scaffolding.
