All my daily paintings – Private View

May 12, 2016 by Lin Kerr Leave a Comment

Scroll down for larger versions. On Monday I'll show the tulips. These have not been shown on my silent auction because I can't sell them in two places at the same time. But I can sell them by email - if the one you like has not already been sold on the exhibition. Some of these will be at Aston Tirrold and some will be at Ardington, so this is a good chance for an overview! These are all oil paintings, £50 unframed and £70 framed. May 22, 2015 by Lin Kerr Leave a Comment

He specialises in local landscapes and Oxford cityscapes. My pebble paintings have been popular … [Read more...]

You may skip the exhibition if you feel that this is sufficient as a treat - in the words of CMR "Art is … [Read more...]

Actually I also scale up when planning framing, so this time I had pictures of everything on a scale of 2mm=1cm.  So I draw the walls to the same scale after measuring them then see what looks right in a little diagram. I swop them round until I'm happy then take the plan to the gallery. The thistle is floating because it … [Read more...]

I am working 24/7 framing work, designing and ordering postcards, printing cards, writing lists etc. for ARTWEEKS.'Artweeks' is Oxfordshire's Open Studios and for two weeks of the year the public can see and purchase work directly from the artists. I have been working on a panel for Snells Woodland since January and it has come together just in time. This is in conjunction with Tessa Case who is doing the text and info and Carole Findlay who has done some beautiful bird photography. I'll show … [Read more...]
