…and tomorrow I’ll have another little panel to add to this – Three figs.
It is very interesting to have slight variations on a theme and here the second one had a light shining on the figs casting strong shadows. I love subtleties and even irond (yes ironed!) a napkin to create a sharp crease to give me a vertical line. When you see tomorrow’s figs (3, one cut in half) you’ll see that my brushstrokes are much looser.
Now, the Silent Auction: (click to view) This is your best chance to get a little oil painting for next to nothing because when, 🙂 I get famous and these paintings become popular, the price will go up. In the meantime, they will not be more that £45 but you can put in a bid for anything over £15. At the end of the month the highest bid will win the painting and all the paintings will be replaced. So not much to lose! You can bid for more and even choose only one. Also if you are desperate to own the painting, you simply pay the full price and it will be removed from the auction. You won’t ever be able to see other peoples bids though – (because our servers don’t have the power to constantly check and update) so you can just take a chance – or not!
This means I’ll be putting 12 – 18 new paintings up on auction every month and removing any unsold paintings. I’ll be following the seasons – see teh snowdrops – and following my heart and I think it’s going to be quite exciting. I don’t know how long I’ll be doing daily paintings for, but for the moment it is The Way to Go!
