Not only was Silent night the wrong way (it should have been backwards) but when I put it into the space it looked overlarge and should have been on a single line. So with some help from Photoshop I flipped it, then rearranged it. This also meant swopping the T’s, enlarging the S, changing the stars, and while I was about it, improving the quality of the lino cutting.
Now the weight of the letter stroke relates better to the branches of the trees and is more delicate. I think the village will enjoy this after the summer version for the Welcome to the Village leaflet.
