Tina Warren is the winner and has chosen the last available (unnumbered edition) of Rope of Words. I’m going to show you her lovely work tomorrow for a nice juicy weekend blog, so today it’s Rope of Words – then and now:
A year ago I had 600 copies to bind for the limited edition and Pearl de Chalain arrived just in time from South Africa to help me with the binding. We are now about to sell number 345! In the meantime, Wantage Museum has invited Megan and I to exhibit the making of Rope of Words, to co-incide with the Wantage Literary Festival, where we will probably give some workshops.
I have no sooner finished Artweeks, than I am designing a poster for the next show. There will be artists’ books from my collection (nfs), the little set of books on colour for kids, Rope of Words, framed illustrations, and my newest collaboration – a slim volume of poetry combined with minimalist dance figures. This is still in the making, so you’ll see this unfold.
