Custom sized envelopes for your valentine card

January 21, 2015 by Lin Kerr 1 Comment

Ever made a lovely card then it has to float around in the wrong sized envelope?
Here’s a way to make a marvellous envelope the right size from lovely quality paper. For a postcard-sized card you need an A4 sheet of paper. It only takes a few minutes. You may need to put some sellotape on the back or add a few dabs of glue. The top glues over and can be held in place by a stamp.

If your card is a different size orshape you’ll need to experiment a little with different sizes and shapes of paper; but always start with your card placed diagonally on the paper.

Oh, and my little girl – Valentine card is now in The Slice of Lime gift shop. Follow this link. I’m going to have to design another “little girl” one as I have four  granddaughters (2 in each family, so I need at least 2 designs). To see the Dad, Mum, single woman, single man, boy and girl, visit the shop.
